A new powerful coalition and organization Rework America is aiming to match younger job seekers having difficulty finding work with employers seeking to fill about 4 million mid-level jobs. “The group is creating an online job market where businesses can list skills they are seeking, rather than educational requirements.
LinkedIn’s Rework America initiative, is a partnership with the Markle Foundation, and will first start in Denver and Phoenix. The idea is to train younger people seeking work in the high-demand fields –- such as information technology, health, manufacturing and energy.
