Description
We are hiring for a U.S. based, remote volunteer position of Board Treasurer.
The NR2F1 Foundation is a 5 year old, 501c3 nonprofit that is registered in the U.S. but serves a world-wide community. We work remotely with 3 board members living in the UK and the rest living in the U.S.A.
We are a small but mighty team of parents, volunteers and family members. Through education, advocacy and research we empower a community of families and individuals living with rare NR2F1 gene variants that cause a syndrome called Bosch-Boonstra-Schaaf optic atrophy syndrome (BBSOAS). The symptoms include intellectual disability/developmental delay, Cerebral Visual Impairment, seizures and a host of ocular impairments.
Our current Treasurer and co-founder has been with us from the beginning and is ready to pass the baton.
We are a cohesive, supportive and motivated team changing lives for the better every day. If you are looking to expand your resume and use your skills to make a real difference, we encourage you to apply!
