The Human Services Council is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Manager. The individual selected for this position will be responsible to direct the fiscal operations of the Human Services Council in support of programs and services; manage and supervise accounting staff and day-to-day accounting and payable functions of the Agency and its programs; work closely with the Executive Director, Leadership Team and Board of Directors to support the agency’s mission and programs ensuring sound financial practices are in place and followed. The Human Services Council is a non-profit corporation established in 1957, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Human Services Council's mission is to improve peoples' lives by connecting them to opportunities, information and services that respond to their individual and family needs.

Starting salary range is $59,196-$88,793. Candidate will be placed within range dependent upon qualifications. The Human Services Council provides excellent benefits including healthcare, paid time off, paid holidays and retirement contributions.

2. A resume detailing how your education and work experience prepares you to perform each aspect of the job description; a job history must be included as part of the resume.
3. Provide detailed responses on a separate sheet of paper to the following questions:
a. Describe your experience managing and overseeing governmental, non-profit and/or grant accounting programs and services to include revenue levels and sources, number of grants/contracts, contract types and any special conditions or restrictions required by funding sources.
b. Describe your experience preparing for, and leading an annual Uniform Guidance audit. Include your specific duties and role in managing the audit process.
c. Describe your experience developing and managing budgets to include funding sources, multiple staff distributions to funding sources and allocation theory or method used in budget development.
