According to BlackBaud this years Giving Tuesday hit a record $60.9 Million! As the leading cloud software company processes the majority of online donations, this growth is significant!
#GivingTuesday processed $60.9 million from 7,200+ organizations receiving donations this year. Online donations increased for the sixth year in a row at 28% this year!
Rachel Hutchisson, Blackbaud’s Vice President of Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy commented on the growth: “In this year of unprecedented disasters it’s humbling to see how many organizations mobilized armies of volunteers, served hot meals, rebuilt homes, provided shelter, rescued people and pets, and stood up for victims in need wherever and whenever they were needed.”
