Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented web and integrations developer to join our team at Citizens Defending Freedom, a non-profit organization. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications and integrations to support our mission, goals, and marketing efforts (including marketing automation and content-based marketing tech stategy). You will work closely with project management, marketing, operations, and financial team members to understand the requirements and design specifications for each project and use your technical skills to develop and implement effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build web applications using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress and PHP and integrations utilizing third-party providers such as Zapier and Microsoft
  • Link customer information from sales/donations made on website to customer relationship management software
  • Provide campaign and overall analytics for web traffic
  • Work in tandem with our marketing and communications team to facilitate sophisticated marketing-automation projects, user experience, and customer journey
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to understand project requirements and design specifications
  • Develop and implement integration solutions using APIs and other technologies
  • Maintain and update existing web applications and integrations
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing web site, hosting, and integrations as they arise
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Proactive work style and creative problem solver who can handle multiple projects, demonstrating a strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, and follow-through; commitment to continuous improvement and the elimination of performance variability
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, integrations, secure coding practices, analytics, and ecommerce, prefer background in marketing and/or non-profit areas
  • Strong understanding of web development languages, WordPress, WordPress Multi-site, Zapier, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, WordPress Engine and other technologies
  • Experience working with APIs and integration technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
