Primary Responsibilities:
Progress Foundation has an opening for a part time Program Clerk - This position works for three programs located at three different locations all in the Santa Rosa Area, under the supervision of the Program/Assistant Director, the Program Clerk is responsible for data entry for county billing; providing general clerical functions, answering and screening incoming telephone calls; and greeting visitors. Duties include but are not limited to:

Receive and enter all client data into computer for county billing purposes. Generate various summary reports on regular basis and as required or needed. Provide general clerical and administrative support such as records/forms management, photocopying and preparing memos, letters, and forms using available word processing systems. Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls, as needed. Distribute and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, as needed. Keep Director informed of activities and problems within assigned area of responsibility and refer matters beyond limit of authority to Director for direction. Comply with all agency policies and procedures, including the code of ethics. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Working knowledge of general office practices and procedures. Strong data entry skills with the ability to create, maintain and enter information into databases as directed. Strong computer skill with ability to use all Microsoft Office products. Must possess effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills. Must be able to negotiate several flights of stairs during each work shift and carry 20 lb. packages. Must demonstrate an acceptable level of maturity, good judgment, and emotional stability. Must maintain a valid California driver’s license. Must have a car available for personal transportation between programs and for transport of clerical supplies, and must be insurable under the agency’s current auto insurance policy.

This position is 30Hrs per weeks and offer full paid- Medical, Dental, Vision, 403B and 2 weeks paid sick, 2 weeks paid Vacation and paid Holiday time per year
