Description

Generation Rise is a small, grassroots organization in Kigali, Rwanda which is poised for growth. We are seeking someone who has experience with international online fundraising campaigns and social media engagement of potential donors.

We strongly believe that every girl deserves the right to make decisions over her life and we wish to equip girls in rural areas with the skills and support they need as they overcome negative norms which are still hindering them to realize their dreams. Traditionally, a girl is supposed to aspire to become a good wife and is expected to be the caretaker for the family. These stereotypes continue to be a barrier for many girls who want to challenge the patriarchal system and negative norms. We have seen the positive impact of our holistic approach and we want to broaden our reach to many more girls in our community. We hope  to find someone who believes in creating opportunities for  underprivileged girls to join us in this journey.

As Generation Rise grows, we seek to continue our relationship with the person in this role and will provide opportunities for increased hours.
