Director of School Fundraising and Development Director

We're looking for a partime educator, director of school coordinator and fundraising to work for the Georgie Badiel Foundation.  And a Development Director  to help raise funds for the Georgie Badiel Foundation

The job description is for the Director of school coordinator and fundraising is:

1) To increase the number of students from independent schools in the U.S. who engage with the Georgie Badiel Foundation annually to help plant the seed for lifelong global activism.

2) To increase the number of Independent (or public) schools across the U.S. who raise money through their existing clubs, (French and other) classes or fundraising mechanisms to support the charitable work of GBF in West Africa.

3) To review, codify and co-create age-appropriate curricula and simple materials (short PPT, handouts, etc) with Georgie Badiel Liberty founder and CEO of GBF for lower-, middle- and upper-school engagements that serve both virtual and in-person sessions. These will include info regarding water access, Georgie’s books ( The Water Princess and Water Is Here) when appropriate age level and Burkina Faso/the region.

The Job description for the Development Director is:

• Use sales and spending cycles to guide fundraising campaign decisions
• Find ideal donors from public and private donors
• Create a respectful reputation for the company or nonprofit they represent
• Construct graphs and reports to convey their strategies and needs
• Build new donor relationships while maintaining ongoing ones
• Write content to earn grants, new audiences and better relationships with donors and other corporations
