Director, Education and Advocacy Resources

The Director, Education and Advocacy Resources (E&A) will be responsible for creating and overseeing the development of interdivisional educational and advocacy resources. This includes training others regarding the use of these resources. The Director reports to the Director, E&A Division.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate written resources to be used by staff and volunteers throughout the US who are responsible for creating programs for their chapters/regions.  Support both staff and volunteers in identifying options for integrating these resources in their local and regional programs.
• Work closely with the program staff in other divisions to develop resources so that they integrate all divisions.
• Write and develop program curricula, as needed.
• Determine evaluation plan, metrics, and implementation plan.
• Work inter-divisionally to ensure that resources representing all divisions are integrated and amplify our missions.
• Work with Marketing Division to roll out resources across the country.
• Facilitate connections between Hadassah chapters implementing the same resources.   Train staff in geographic areas in the use of the materials.
• Facilitate conversations and collaborative efforts with other divisions.
• Provide E&A with detailed updates on resources and ROI.
• Work closely with volunteer counterparts and provide in-depth support to geographic area staff and volunteers.
• Other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience

• BA plus 5-10 years of experience in a related field.
• In depth experience developing and implementing written resources and programs.
• Experience working with and training lay leadership and staff.
• Working knowledge of MS office, program management software (e.g. Basecamp, MS Project etc.) and digital video conferencing and/or educational platforms
• Background in the following areas a plus:
  • Advocacy
  • Zionism and Jewish Education
  • Community organizing
