Description
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for the development and execution of the overall continuous quality improvement plans for agency. Plays a critical role in advancing quality improvement strategies to further achieve the agency’s goals. This position is located in either Auburn NY or Bronx NY
FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinate all aspects of obtaining and maintaining COA accreditation
- Manage other licensure and certification
- Oversee the implementation of CQI plans and process improvement
- Facilitate active participation for satisfaction feedback and planning for the future
- Develop agency policies and procedures as needed
- Review all new policies and forms to ensure consistency
- Assist in the application of grants and contracts
- Collaborate with the data analyst and the CEO to develop the agency’s research agenda
- Act as staff lead in identifying our client management information system needs and in meeting those needs
- Partner with the Chief Operating Officer-CNY & Chief Operating Officer-NYC, the Chief Fiscal Officer, and the CEO in developing and maintaining a risk management program
- Ensure all agency programs and locations are interconnected
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in a human service field required
- Five years of progressive human services experience
- Familiarity with OCFS, OPwDD, OMH, and other relevant municipal and state agencies
- Experience in program development, training, community relations, CQI
- Experience in outcome-based practice
- Experience with tracking, reporting, and improving key quality metrics
- Ability to lead, challenge, motivate and facilitate teams to achieve results
- Demonstrated flexibility in adjusting to changes in priorities and situations within the agency
