Description

Are you an LISW or PCC (or on your way to becoming independently licensed) who’s looking for a clinical and administrative management opportunity in the social services field? Does working in an evidence-based program to end homelessness for adults with mental illness and substance use disorders sound like an exciting career move? As a Program Manager for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), you’ll be the leader for a team of social service staff who provide case management, residential support, employment services and therapy to adults with mental illness and substance use disorders. You’ll use your clinical expertise to coach your staff in best practices, such as Housing First, harm reduction and trauma informed care (training provided), and you’ll work with community partners like Eden, the VA, Care Alliance to ensure successful outcomes for participants. You’ll also be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the program, including managing expenses, tracking data, and measuring performance. To be successful as a PSH manager, you will need to be an effective communicator, have good organizational skills and flexibility, be able to support your team, and work well with your colleagues and partners to solve problems.

Required qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field with current LSW, PC and eligibility to become independently licensed (LISW, PCC) within one year of start date. Experience in behavioral health required.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record and proof of insurance; adhering to the minimum requirements of Ohio’s Financial Responsibility Act.
  • CPR certification plus First Aid and non-violent physical crisis intervention training (within 60 days of hire).

Preferred qualifications: at least one year of management experience in behavioral health, LISW/PCC.

Starting salary:$60,000 (non-independent licensure, within 1 year of obtaining)

Starting salary:$65,000 (independent licensure)
