Description
The Carnegie Writers’ Group is a community-based writing group designed to enhance writing skills through writing exercises, community education, and writers’ workshop.
Responsibilities
- Attend CW training and orientations related to the Coordinator’s role as a writing group coordinator.
- Facilitate the Writing Group Meetings, including leading writing sessions, providing feedback on written work, giving opportunities for attendees to receive feedback from their peers on their written work, scheduling, and hosting guest speakers, and keeping attendance and up-to-date evaluations.
- Promote the writer's group meetings and answer questions from the public about them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience working and/or teaching adult learners.
