Description

The Vice President of Programs will design and lead the program operations strategy for TMCF. Reporting to the Chief Programs Officer, the Incumbent will lead all aspects of program operations, ensuring the team and processes are structured to support the growing program's portfolio. The Vice President of Programs will ensure operational excellence through sound leadership in budgeting, reporting, project management, partner and team management.

Reports to: Chief Programs Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and leads TMCF programs execution strategy for the ever growing and dynamic programs portfolio.
  • Must create resource strategies that align with budgeting parameters while maintaining and elevating program delivery standards
  • Design operational approaches that support the agile culture while providing guardrails to maintain program quality standards

Partner Management and onboarding

  • Establish high-quality relationships with new and existing partners
  • Oversee partner planning process ensuring the most efficient alignment of TMCF capabilities and partner goals. Track progress of project delivery of team
  • Maintain a regular cadence of partner meetings and program evaluation to analyze outcomes and evolve partner program strategies as needed
  • Provide a consultative approach to partnership management by demonstrating proactive thought leadership and value-added insights that are delivered in advance of an ask.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Programs Officer and revenue team to manage the timing, structure, and nature of new partnerships

Program Budget Management

  • Oversee and track program budgets in collaboration with program directors. Recommend budget reallocations/adjustments as required
  • Provide a cadence of budget updates to Chief Programs Officer to manage and track spending

Data Analysis

  • In collaboration with the Chief Programs Officer and programs team members, ensure tracking of program outcomes and proper reporting to all stakeholders

Team Management

  • Manage the high performing programs and K-12 teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and engagement.
  • Establish a strong cross-functional partnership with other TMCF teams

Special Demands

  • Travel Required: 50-65%

Required Competencies and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of related business strategy, budgeting, project management, or consulting experience
  • Budget development and analysis
  • Management experience with the ability to coach and develop talent
  • Strong business acumen; decision making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong presentation skills
