Consider the Urban Teaching Fellows Program!
• Work full time under the guidance of an experienced mentor teacher in a successful public middle school on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
• Collaborate with other staff members.
• Spend a year in New York City.
• Work with a diverse group of students in an innovative and academically challenging environment.
• Earn 6 graduate credits through Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education. (Commit to teaching after the fellowship year and you’ll be awarded another 3 credits!)
• Earn an annual stipend of $30,000.00
• No experience or education coursework is required. We are seeking liberal arts and sciences graduates with a desire to learn about teaching in urban settings.
This is NOT the New York City Teaching Fellows.
