Social Media/Marketing Internship

Wayward Ranch is a nonprofit animal sanctuary looking to bring on a social media/marketing intern for a 4-6 week internship in the summer of 2021. We are flexible and able to work with the intern on what start date, length of internship, and days/hours per week would work best for them.

The goal of this internship is to provide an opportunity for an intern to gain experience assisting with growing the social media of a nonprofit and building relationships with local media, businesses, and donors. This is an unpaid internship that would be beneficial for someone looking to pursue a career in nonprofit marketing/social media who needs hands on experience.

Internship Description:

• Assist in photographing and videotaping animals to create content for social media and marketing documents.
• Assist in creating social media posts on the following platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Assist in creating and completing virtual fundraisers over social media.
• Assist in creating and maintaining relationships with local businesses.
• Assist in creating and maintaining relationships with local media outlets.
• Assist in creating and maintaining relationships with donors.

This is an unpaid internship position.
