Job Description

This bilingual position resides on our Programs team and reports to the Director of Grant & Online Programs. This Senior Program Coordinator role is responsible for English/Spanish technical assistance to participants enrolled in the School Food Institute (SFI), a series of video-based online courses leveraging Chef Ann Cooper’s extensive expertise in leading school food programs through a transition to serving whole, fresh, healthy foods to kids. Course topics cover everything necessary to make sustainable change to school food operations. Primarily, this role will lead the collaboration with our Healthy School Food Pathway team to deliver technical assistance in English and Spanish to Pre-Apprentices, Apprentices, and Fellows, but will also support other student groups and individual students as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technical assistance and customer service in English & Spanish to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs to school food operators and the Healthy School Food Pathway program participants
  • Maintain participant engagement and create meaningful relationships with students to inspire actionable change within their brief enrollment period
  • Oversee ongoing maintenance of relevant and active content for SFI learning management systems
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with internal CAF teams (Tech and Marketing, School Food Operations and Programs) and external partners (technology support, school food operators, funders and program partners)
  • Ensure the School Food Institute is implemented at the highest level and represents the organization’s commitment to quality, results-driven programming
  • Collaboratively identify and prioritize changes and ongoing improvements for SFI
  • Implement technology integration including grant applications, grantee reporting, additional platforms (i.e. Salesforce, Moodle) as directed

Basic Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer service, and technical assistance to school food operators and advocates enrolled in the School Food Institute
  • Deliver meaningful and constructive feedback on student assignments
  • Support Spanish speaking students, including translation of student assignments
  • Serve as the primary contact for students enrolled in SFI courses
  • Answer student questions (both content-related and technical) with the assistance of the instructor (Chef Ann) when necessary
  • Track and manage student program certificate completion and delivery
  • Implement technology integration and troubleshooting on platforms (i.e. Moodle) as directed
  • Communicate with technical and lay audiences about online learning platform training, troubleshooting, updates, improvements, and needs
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback as aligned with our mission
  • Condense large amounts of information into easy-to-read reports, including data collection, cleaning and chart creation
  • Maintain understanding and awareness of federal and state policies as they relate to program operations
  • Contribute to presentation of program information and collaborations with workforce development and marketing teams
  • Manage monthly progress reports (programmatic and group enrollment), and quarterly program reports (enrollment, trends, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned within School Food Institute, Salad Bars to Schools and Bulk Milk programs.

Position Requirements

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Experience in school food, online instruction, curriculum development and delivery, and/or professional development preferred
  • Ability to travel for work
  • Ability to work virtually and participate in meetings in the Pacific time zone (PST/PDT)
  • Ability to learn and engage with learning technology programs (i.e. Moodle)
  • Experience managing learning technology programs and/or online instruction
  • Experience in customer service and/or technical assistance delivery preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite platforms, Apple computers
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Compensation

Compensation ranges between $52,000-$66,000 per year and will be commensurate with the candidate’s previous directly related experience, education and credentials. We are a fully remote organization whose headquarters are located in Boulder, CO, with team members spread across the US. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
