Description

The Senior Multimedia Communications Producer is a member of the Marketing and Communications division team. They will help develop and drive our multimedia strategy and production. The producer will manage and assist and/or produce audio and video projects – including but not limited to videos, virtual programs, podcasts, radio shows, and PowerPoints – from creative inception through production and dissemination, working in collaboration with key senior staff and volunteers in the division, across the organization and including collaboration with our colleagues in Israel. These projects will help drive brand/project/campaign awareness and support fundraising/philanthropy and membership growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with colleagues to identify communication goals, strategies and timelines
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team – including volunteer leaders – on creative direction, concepts, copy and design elements
  • Work closely with colleagues in Israel and around US to receive and effectively integrate important material to realize goals of the product.
  • Additional responsibilities to include annual and campaign audio/video planning,
    managing budgets, scriptwriting, directing, video edits/edit suggestions, managing associated website pages, and monitoring and reporting statistical data. ­­­­
  • Research new vendors as needed; assign, manage, and supervise contract production companies and/or freelance vendors
  • Communicate to supervisor and colleagues throughout the process, providing updates and managing expectations
  • Make presentations of concepts and final videos to leadership at various levels

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • 5-7 years of progressively senior, relevant work experience
  • Experience with production and creative tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or similar design and production software
  • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premier, Final Cut, or similar tools.
  • Experience working or volunteering for a non-profit organization
  • Experience managing staff and A/V vendors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the strategic use of digital media, tools, applications, and platforms, including web, social, and mobile
  • Familiarity with techniques for powerful storytelling
  • Ability to direct and/or create short videos that are appropriate for social media platforms
  • Working knowledge of presentation platforms such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Prezi or Canva.   Ability to work in Adobe InDesign is a plus.
