Senior Grants and Planning Associate (hybrid position)

Position Description:

Join a passionate and energetic 13-person Development Team as a Senior Grants and Planning Associate reporting to the Director of Strategy, Planning and Grants.  This position is responsible for grants development and related planning initiatives in support of critical human services. This person will:

• Cultivate relationships with foundation prospects and deepen relationships with current funders and partners to generate increased revenue in support of JCFS.
• Proactively identify grant opportunities in support of new and ongoing agency programs.
• Responsible for proposal writing, budget development, and submission of reports.
• Involved in planning efforts to develop programs in response to community need.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in grant writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, budget, and organization skills.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
