Description
The RSC position is responsible for conducting individual and/or community assessments to determine service needs and ensure that service delivery addresses the current client/population and service’s needs. RSC will deliver programs in accordance with the proprietary program/curriculum. Additionally, RSC is responsible for actively building and maintaining partnerships with community agencies, universities, government, business leaders, law enforcement, and communities of faith to ensure CHP’s client's access to needed support and services. The RSC is responsible for compliance and maintaining data on program activities and outcomes as well as all on-time reporting to grantors and funding sources. The RSC is responsible for the implementation and coordination of service delivery to CHP residents within an assigned geographic area encompassing, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and surrounding localities.
The ideal candidate should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, stellar customer service skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with diverse residents, co-workers, and community partners. Proficient with internet research, Microsoft Office suite. Extensive knowledge of community resources to support and sustain residents’ self-sufficiency and stability. Should be able to work independently as well as to work within a team-oriented environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years experience working in the human services/social services field; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in the human’s services/social services field plus 1 year of work experience in the human services/social services field
The compensation for this 40 hour per week position includes generous paid vacation/holidays/sick leave, health/dental/life/disability insurance, 403b retirement plan with company match, and more. Salary depending on qualifications.
