Description

Psychiatric Nurse Manager

Northampton, MA

Full-Time

We are looking for an inspiring, experienced nurse leader to oversee the nursing team in our busy Outpatient Community Mental Health Clinic in downtown Northampton.

As our Psychiatric Nurse Manager, you will:

  • lead and supervise our skilled team of nurses and medical assistants;
  • set and maintain high standards for nursing excellence and client safety to ensure best clinical practices;
  • ensure that documentation of nursing services meets or exceeds compliance standards; and
  • provide hands-on client services as needed.

You thrive on the challenges and potential of a community mental health environment, working well with a wide variety of clients, including people with serious and persistent mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities. A committed team player, you enjoy collaborating with medical leadership to bring all disciplines together around the client’s needs. And those who have worked with you describe you as both motivational and exceptionally well organized. You can quickly communicate essential information in both your written and spoken communication and are comfortable using an electronic health record. Licensed as an RN in Massachusetts, you have a BSN degree and a strong desire to apply your knowledge and experience where it will make a big difference in people’s lives.

In addition to a competitive salary, commensurate with your experience, we offer:

  • generous time-off;
  • comprehensive health and dental insurance;
  • a 403(B) retirement plan, with employer matching;
  • long-term disability, paid life insurance, tuition assistance, and several more benefit options.
