Summary:

A dynamic and innovative NYC-based foundation committed to strengthening and building the fields of Jewish education and identity, and building capacity in leading-edge Jewish non-profits, is seeking a successful professional to fill a Program and Grants Manager position.

The Program and Grants Manager will be supervised by the Project Accelerate Director.  Project Accelerate builds the capacity of high performing, innovative organizations serving the Jewish community that are poised to enter a new stage in their growth and development. The program offers a combination of cohort-based learning, training, mentoring, and capacity building grants.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director of Project Accelerate on all elements of Project Accelerate program development and execution, including:
    • Application and cohort selection process
    • Planning and logistics for in-person seminars and online webinars
    • Management of project timelines
    • Updating website content, social media, and email communications
    • Ongoing communication with program participants and grantees
  • Manage Project Accelerate program grants as well as other recurring grants within the foundation, including to:
    • Create, monitor, and maintain grant reporting schedules and follow-up communication on various matters with grantees
    • Process and track letters of agreement, payment requests, and program reports for grants management
    • Prepare matching grants for payment and maintain appropriate records including summary report and grantee data
    • Support other grants, programs, and tasks as needed

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant work experience
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Superior analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Jewish community
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Zoom and familiarity with WordPress and Salesforce
  • Experience with or ability to learn grant management systems and non-profit work

 

Compensation Package

$55,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience and supplemented by an outstanding benefit package.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid (3-days/week in office) work schedule.
