Description
The Director of Operations is responsible for managing various aspects of the organization’s operations and collaborates with leadership to develop and implement strategies that support BIAWA’s mission and goals of providing information and resources to persons with brain injury, family caregivers and professionals.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning. Collaboration with leadership to develop and implement operations and strategies aligned with BIAWA’s missions and goals. Provide insight and recommendations for process improvement, fund development, networking and organizational growth.
- Financial Management. Oversee budge development and financial performance. Work with the finance team to ensure accurate and accountable reporting and compliance with funding requirements.
- Human Resources. Manage human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, training,performance evaluations, leadership and maintaining employee relationships. Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies. Foster effective communications with program manager to align operational support and program goals.
- Technology and Information Management. Oversee and implement technology systems to support efficient operations. Manage data security and information management.
- Administrative Oversight. Supervise administrative staff and ensure day to day operations.Implement and enhance administrative processes to improve organizational efficiency.
- Grant Management. Collaborate with development to support grant applications and reporting,and compliance with requirements.
