Managing Director

The Board of Directors for the Tybee Post Theater is hiring for a Managing Director. The Managing Director is responsible for the overall business, administrative, and operational management of the Company.  This includes leadership of fundraising, budgeting, financial management, HR, information systems, institutional marketing, and Board relations.  The Managing Director will work in close collaboration with the Artistic Director.  The Managing and Artistic Directors are jointly charged with enabling the Tybee Post Theater to realize its goals for artistic excellence, community service, financial stability, fundraising, and audience development.

The Managing Director is a full time exempt employee.  Compensation will be competitive for an organization of the Tybee Post Theater's size.  The Tybee Post Theater is an equal opportunity employer.

Tybee Post Theater is located on the Georgia Coast near Savannah, Georgia as well as Hilton Head and Charleston, South Carolina. The historic Tybee Post Theater, set in the heart of the Fort Screven Historic District, was constructed in 1930 as a movie house for the soldiers stationed at the base. After going dark in the mid-1960s, the curtain was raised for the first time in 50 years, renovated and reborn as a performing arts and movie venue for Tybee residents and visitors alike.
