Licensed Bilingual Social Worker

POSITION SUMMARY: The clinician will work cooperatively with the Program Director to implement all aspects of the Televisiting program. The clinician will interact with families, guardians, foster care agencies, schools and other agencies; oversee the family Televisiting sessions; interact directly with the Department of Corrections. The clinician will also be responsible for operating the televideo equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be a licensed social worker.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with NYC Department of Corrections and Administration for Children’s Services
• Bilingual Spanish/English

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

> Interact with families and children with incarcerated family member

> Schedule visitation sessions

> Facilitate each televisiting session with families in our studio

> Interact with Department of Corrections and Administration for Children’s Services

> Demonstrate computer literacy to facilitate remote communications.

> Communicate with the Program Director

> Prepare and submit monthly report to the Program Director

Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours/week, including evenings and weekends
