Kindergarten Teacher

Dublin Learning Academy is looking for a licensed kindergarten teacher for our private kindergarten program.

Dublin Learning Academy is a private curriculum-based school. The kindergarten position is a contracted position where you are eligible for PTO and health insurance after 90 days of employment. As the kindergarten teacher, you will lead a team of at least one assistant teacher and the curriculum coordinator. We offer RESA mentorship for teachers who are working in the RESA program. Dublin Learning Academy practices low classroom sizes with small student to teacher ratios. As the kindergarten teacher, you will have the freedom to plan and execute the curriculum as you see fit. The kindergarten teacher is given a curriculum map for the entire year with standards and sight words mapped out. Dublin Learning Academy uses an accelerated curriculum program with kindergarten standards taught the first semester and first grade standards taught the second semester. The kindergarten teacher will be responsible for planning curriculum & assessing the full day Kindergarten students on sight words, phonemic awareness skills, math concepts and reading levels using the DRA leveled assessment. The kindergarten teacher has scheduled daily planning time in addition to a lunch period.
