POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be part of the Certification Operations team and will work with instructional designers, vendors, and subject matter experts to develop and update question banks and certification preparation courses in various formats (eLearning, Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Live Training (VLT), and Blended Learning). The role will also guide the learning experience journey with evaluating product content & utilizing modern learning technology to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizes adult learning theory to design, develop, and implement training programs in classroom and eLearning programs; creates a variety of training solutions including eLearning, PowerPoint presentations, videos, virtual training, and job aids.
  • Understands adult learning best practices and is able to translate design specifications into engaging learning experiences.
  • Works collaboratively with ASQ, SME’s and vendors, ensuring the quality of outsourced Certification preparation products and work meets accepted educational and learning standards.
  • Works with the Certification Body of knowledge to ensure all test specifications, content & requirements are mapped and reflected within course design and development.
  • Uses multimedia editing tools to translate concepts into visuals, create visual design treatments and custom designed eLearning activities and animations.
  • Edits video content including assembling, creating, and incorporating graphic and motion elements, and audio editing.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement efforts by recommending process improvements and curriculum enhancements and implementing as appropriate.
  • Converts training into various modalities as assigned, i.e., converting instructor-led training to eLearning.
  • Demonstrates effective project and budget management, and course development skills.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves course issues, balancing a commitment to quality with urgent and effective action.
  • Adheres to ASQE Competencies: Accountability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Developing Self and Staff, Ethics and Teamwork.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field with three years of experience in instructional design or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Must have worked through and managed course development for instructor-led and eLearning and possess experience collaborating with internal and external SMEs.
  • Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline, proficient with Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), and experience with design platforms, such as InDesign
  • Familiarity with course management systems, such as Blackboard is a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Normal office environment. 100% Remote Eligible.
