Who we are

Bringing Families Together (BFT) offers seven programs across the state of Missouri. Mission driven staff members become a part of the BFT community while transforming the lives of those in need. BFT implements programming to clients to strengthen families and children by promoting self-sufficiency, well-being, and safety through prevention, intervention, education, and advocacy.

Family Development Specialist (full time)

Staff recruit, train, assess, license and support foster/adoptive/relative families for children experiencing foster care. They work to support permanency functions for youth assigned.

Foster Care Case Manager (full time)

Staff provide, coordinate, and facilitate all service necessary to support the permanency goal for abused and neglected children in foster care. They ensure safety of the youth in their care, provide resources and referrals, educational advocacy, and comprehensive service referrals for parents.

Intensive In-Home Specialist (full time)

Staff work to educate, empower, and improve overall functioning for clients at risk of abuse and neglect. They work in the clients home providing resources, support, and advocacy so that the clients functioning is improved after services.

Each position entails both direct client contact and supporting paperwork

50 % direct work in the field—in client’s homes many times

50 % meetings and paperwork

To Qualify:

· Bachelors or Master’s Degree is Social Work or a related field

· At least 1 year paid related work experience with children/families

· Excellent documentation skills

· Valid Driver’s license, vehicle and car insurance

Salary:

$43,000/annually starting for bachelor’s degree (required)

$45,000/annually starting for master’s degree
