Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and dynamic Executive Director to lead and expand our organization's impact. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management, operations, and strategic direction of IVUmed. This individual will collaborate closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement innovative strategies that further our mission, increase our reach, and optimize our resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Planning:

• Work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with IVUmed's mission, values, and goals.
• Identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration, while maintaining a focus on our core mission and values.
• Oversee the development and execution of annual operating plans, budgets, and performance metrics.

1. Fundraising & Resource Development:

• Cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential donors, partners, and funding agencies to secure financial support and resources.
• Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy that includes grant writing, individual giving, corporate partnerships, and special events.
• Ensure financial transparency, integrity, and sustainability through effective financial management, reporting, and compliance.

1. Operations & Program Management:

• Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of IVUmed's programs and initiatives to ensure they are efficient, effective, and aligned with our mission.
• Foster a positive organizational culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

1. External Relations & Communications:

• Serve as the primary spokesperson for IVUmed, representing the organization in the media, at conferences, and in the community.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that raises awareness of IVUmed's work, accomplishments, and impact.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international partners, stakeholders, and networks to advance IVUmed's mission and enhance collaboration.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in the non-profit sector, preferably in healthcare, international development, or a related field.
• Proven track record in fundraising, financial management, and strategic planning.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience working with diverse communities and cultures, and a deep commitment to equity and inclusion.
• Passion for IVUmed's mission and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the world.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
