Elementary Teacher

Pincushion Hill Montessori School seeks a full time Elementary Teacher for the 2022/2023 school year.  Established in 1962, Pincushion Hill is a warm and welcoming Montessori community that is committed to creating joyful and enriching outcomes for our students. 

Job responsibilities include:

Provide learning experiences in English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and social emotional learning to students, guided by the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks

Create hands-on and engaging lessons and activities following the Montessori teaching philosophy

Collaborate with an assistant teacher to ensure the safety and well-being of each student while creating an academically enriching classroom environment

Prepare an authentic Montessori learning environment for children ranging between the ages of 6 through 12 years old 

Qualifications:

To be considered qualified for the position of Elementary Teacher, candidates must have/be:

Montessori Certified or Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Elementary Education

Committed to remain current in content knowledge and Montessori teaching approaches

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to children and adults
