Director of Resource Development

Director of Resource Development: The WV Land Trust is adding to its team a new position for a Director of Resource Development, who will design and oversee a multi-channel fundraising program that supports land conservation and organizational growth. The successful candidate for this new position will provide leadership and vision for all philanthropic fundraising activities, including development and oversight of systems that ensure appropriate donor prospecting, cultivation, engagement and stewardship, coordination of proposal production, and supporting board and staff capacity to achieve the financial goals and sustainability of the WV Land Trust.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit fundraising, including planned giving and campaigns. The Director will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Director of Communications, two part-time support staff members, and the Board Development Committee.

The position is full-time and will include some weekend and evening hours; outdoor activities; and statewide travel as necessary to meet the needs of the organization.
