PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This position is a front-line fundraising role focused on identifying, engaging, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding current and prospective donors with the goal of increasing financial support to advance the mission of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine. This position will be responsible for meeting annual revenue goals as well as activity goals, managing a portfolio of donors, and for forging strong working partnerships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

Assures quality customer service to all customers.

Work with Executive Management to establish short-term and long-term fundraising strategy/goals. Fundraising Portfolio Management: Responsible for managing a portfolio of donors and reaching established annual fundraising goals.

Identify, investigate, write proposals to raise funds supporting ITxM’s mission. Provides oversight for major leads.

Offers exceptional fundraising donor care, appreciation and authentic good will in building and maintaining relationships with key supporters, their families and businesses. Develops and maintains deep understanding of key tenets of philanthropic and building a culture of trust in philanthropic relationships. Embodies professionalism and has the social savvy to represent the company at community events and gatherings. Demonstrates the company’s core values through behavior. Assure the prompt gift acceptance, deposit, acknowledgement and recognition of gifts.
