Join the Opportunity House team and make a difference in the lives of others! Caring and compassionate individuals are needed to work with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential home and day program settings. All residential group homes are located in DeKalb or Sycamore, IL.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at Opportunity House are invaluable to our mission to help people with developmental disabilities work, live in home of their choice, and enjoy community life. DSP duties include but are not limited to:

• Teaching daily living skills; provide support and supervision.
• Assisting with cooking and cleaning.
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene of clients.
• Supervising in-home and out-of-home activities.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 year or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Personal vehicle to use on company business if needed.
• Must be able to pass required background checks.

DSP training is provided, flexible, and paid!
