Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organization’s CSR strategy and ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with and strengthening of the company’s brand, values, and reputation, while delivering measurable social and community impact.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the Novum Foundation, ensuring all philanthropic programs and initiatives reflect and enhance the company’s brand presence and community standing.
  • Build relationships with colleagues and customers to support nonprofit partnerships and community programs that create meaningful impact for all stakeholders.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage nonprofit, grant, and foundation partnerships; and conduct due diligence to ensure alignment with the Company's philanthropic objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of Novum Foundation and corporate events, including employee engagement initiatives, holiday celebrations, and other internal programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate grantee performance, community impact, and engagement metrics to ensure funds are used effectively and in alignment with grant objectives and organizational goals.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communications strategies aligned with business objectives and corporate values.
  • Oversee content strategy and creation across digital, social media, marketing materials, and executive communications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • High-energy, results-oriented professional with 10+ years of experience in communications, CSR, nonprofit or foundation leadership, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications; energy industry experience preferred.
  • Proven success in developing nonprofit partnerships, managing grant programs, and driving measurable community impact.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling content across multiple channels, including social media.
  • Expertise in content creation, branding, and design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Proficiency in digital platforms, social media management, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including HTML, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, and effectively engage with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision, ensuring deadlines are strictly adhered to in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally, as needed, to support CSR and communications initiatives.
