Communications/Marketing Manager

Narcolepsy Network is the largest narcolepsy patient support and advocacy organization in the United States. Narcolepsy Network is seeking a tech-savvy digital communications strategist and tactician with hands-on experience developing comprehensive content marketing activities across all platforms. We are looking for a self-starter who is sensitive to the needs of working within a health care setting and a patient community.

You will promote and strengthen the visibility of Narcolepsy Network, provide ongoing news and information updates, develop educational content for our patient community, develop patient stories, manage all external communications, and grow and monitor our interactive social media platforms. Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications, or related field(s). Two or more years of related work experience.
  • Proficient in all digital platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write, edit, and produce compelling print and web content.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work and operate in a fast-paced growing patient organization.
  • Comfortable analyzing data and trends and making informed recommendations accordingly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong work ethic, detail-oriented multi-tasker able to prioritize work responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills.
  • Team player who is adaptable and works well in a small, growing organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,Google Workspace, WordPress, HTML, SEO, Google Analytics, social media.
  • Familiarity with creating and editing original print and digital materials using Adobe Creative Cloud (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), and / or Figma, is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in health, science or social service fields is a plus, but not required.
