Rio Vista CARE, Inc. is a small Non-Profit agency that has been providing mental health services to the community for over 33 years. Our agency provides the educational and mental health programs for those children in need at our local school sites and to adults and families. We have an immediate opening for an MFT Associate at our agency in Rio Vista.  Rio Vista CARE provides excellent training to its Associates because of our great staff and the diversity of our community.  The Associate will have extensive opportunities to gain many hours for the BBS towards licensure.

Position:
Marriage and Family Therapist Associates working with adults and students on the school campus and/or in the office, facilitating groups, work with couples and families at the agency, maintain confidential records. Associates needs to be available Monday thru Thursday/Friday from 9:00am-5:30PM (schedule does have some flexibility and could lead to 1-2 hybrid days).

Responsiblities:
Working with a Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide therapy for school-based children and adults/Families for individual and group therapy.
Manage case load with some interfacing with the County Agencies.
Maintain required written documentation (MH notes) and reports in a timely manner; Ability to learn Medi-cal documentation procedures.
Supervision towards Licensure is provided.

Education, Requirements/Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Must have valid BBS California AMFT or APPC registration.
Current TB and Live Scan Clearance (or ability to get clearance right after hire)
Ability to write and implement Behavior Treatment Plan
Ability to effectively document provided services.
Valid California Driver's License
Must be a team player.
