Help us help others:

A Fund Development Specialist researches, cultivates, and secures funding for the organization by developing and implementing fundraising strategies. The Fund Development Specialist coordinates fundraising events and builds relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and sponsors, to ensure the organization's financial growth and sustainability. The Fund Development Specialist is a self-motivated, hardworking, high-energy person with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate others. Must be willing to travel to attend fairs, events, and other activities that may occur outside of a traditional Monday-Friday work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

You will get to:

• Develop and implement effective fundraising, including setting goals and strategies to expand, cultivate, solicit, and steward the donor base.
• Conduct cultivation meetings and maintain ongoing relationships with donors and prospects through phone calls, Teams, written communication, and personal contact.
• Plan, organize, and manage fundraising events.
• Maintain an accurate database and generate reports on fundraising progress.
• Manage special development-related projects and events, including management of stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on organizational progress and fundraising efforts.

You'll definitely need:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field.
• A valid Texas State Driver's License.
• Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel to individuals when necessary.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
• Live within 30 miles of the clinic with reliable transportation

We'll also want you to:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and execute effective fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of donors and stakeholders
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit development, with a proven track record of meeting financial goals.
