Description
SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager will lead and direct all activities related to Goodwill’s financial activities, under the direct supervision of the Vice President, Accounting/Controller.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following; other duties may be assigned:

- Proficiency in completing assignments independently, on time, and within budget.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, consistently changing environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages 3 to 5 subordinate employees and/or clients in the Business Office. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; terminating employment; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must pass a drug screen. A criminal background check is required. A driver’s license check is required. Must show proof of current driver’s license and minimum auto liability insurance coverage.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field with adequate accounting background and/or coursework plus 5 years experience in an equivalent accounting position; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Management of a small team is required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required, CPA preferred.
