New Hope Manor is seeking a special individual as Executive Director who will lead the mission of this organization.  It is a mission founded on the belief that every woman in crisis can have hope for a better future.

New Hope Manor {NHM} is a 501 C3 nonprofit. It is a community of people pledged to respond to the needs of women who are alienated through the use of chemical substances. They offer Stabilization, Rehabilitation, and Reintegration services to women and their children through 24/7 residential care in Barryville and Poughkeepsie New York.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executive Leadership: Provide oversight and inspirational leadership for staff and programs, ensuring effective service delivery and mission alignment.
  • Program Development & Implementation: Oversee the development and execution of programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and recommend both short- and long-term goals, including formulating and approving program policies and procedures. Lead planning efforts for ongoing organizational development.
  • Compliance & Oversight: Ensure all plans, policies, and procedures comply with OASAS and other regulatory requirements. Act as a liaison between staff and the Board for feedback and approval.
  • Audit & Compliance Management: Ensure the facility operates in compliance with OASAS audits and incorporate any recommended changes into operations.
  • Financial Sustainability: Maximize program revenue to meet the financial needs of New Hope Manor. Track revenue growth in relation to client population expansion and program development.
  • Budget & Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the CFO to develop and submit departmental budgets on time. Ensure timely responses to OASAS inquiries and address any required corrections.
  • Grant Management: Prepare and submit public and private grant applications to secure funding in a timely manner.
  • Public Relations & Advocacy: Represent New Hope Manor to the public and serve as the primary media contact. Enhance the organization’s reputation through active engagement and professional networks.
  • Website & Digital Presence: Ensure the New Hope Manor website is current, informative, and engaging. Promote the organization through professional writings and public associations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Qualified Health Professional (QHP) status.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services.
  • Extensive knowledge of OASAS policies and procedures.
  • Clinical Supervision training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively oversee and collaborate with staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including planning, delegation, program development, and task facilitation.
