Description
The successful candidate must be a dynamic leader with a passion for vocal music education.
- Responsible for the successful leadership, management and day-to-day operations of the organization reflecting the strategic direction established by the Board of Directors.
- Possess knowledge of federal legislation applicable to nonprofit organizations including employment standards, taxation, human rights, and occupational health and safety.
- Provide creative and innovative direction for events, activities and programming, possess strong financial acumen, have events planning experience, and inspire and support a hierarchical system of volunteerism through the organization.
- Demonstrate passion for community engagement and advocacy for the arts including service of and membership in organizations such as the Cultural Advocacy Network of Michigan.
- Travel is required, including evenings and weekends.
