About Us
Eggleston Substance Abuse and Education Program is a division of Eggleston Youth Centers, Inc. We are a non-profit agency committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to youth and adults affected by substance use disorders. We believe in a holistic approach to treatment, integrating evidence-based practices with community support to empower individuals on their path to recovery.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Director to lead our programs and services. This role is an opportunity for a visionary leader to shape policies, implement effective treatment strategies, and drive meaningful change in the lives of those we serve.
Position Overview
The Substance Use Disorder Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of addiction treatment programs, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and innovation. This leadership role requires strategic planning, program development, staff supervision, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates with a background in mental health, addiction, social services, and /or human services are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Development: Design, implement, and oversee SUD treatment programs to ensure high-quality, client-centered and value-based care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all programs adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and support clinical and administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
- Community Engagement: Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance service delivery.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Monitor program outcomes, analyze data, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee program budgets, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable operations.
- Advocacy & Innovation: Stay informed on industry trends, policy changes, and best practices to advocate for effective treatment and prevention initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
- Licensure: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or a related field.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of funding sources, grants, and budget management.
