Description
The Community Engagement Director shall plan and execute campaigns, communications (internal and external) and fundraising events to support development/revenue goals. Specific duties include:
Marketing & Communications
- Social media: create calendar and robust content for primarily Facebook and Instagram. Post reels, videos, events, etc. Goal is to build a robust storytelling initiative across all channels and communications to bring impact stories to the public.
- Create weekly eblast on Constant Contact to support goals and events.
- Website updates and maintenance with a short-term goal of redesigning the site to better reflect current organization using Squarespace.
- Envision and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for fundraisers and events.
- Create all necessary marketing/communications collateral and graphics for needs across organization using Adobe products or Canva.
- Serve as staff photographer as needed for events, etc.
- Write and execute two fundraising letter campaigns annually.
Events
- Point person for planning and executing all public fundraising events, including writing for assets and sponsorship solicitatoin where needed, and client-facing events:
- Golf outing
- Annual Breakfast
- Holiday initiatives
- Volunteer Appreciation event
General
- Team playher for "all hands" events/activities across the organization.
