Description

To provide editorial content for Hadassah Magazine’s editorial team and support its digital publications and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop original digital content, including original stories, videos and social media posts
  • Assist digital editor in maintaining and posting to Hadassah Magazine’s website
  • Provide backup to digital editor for social media outreach
  • Assist in podcast/event production
  • Coordinate and communicate with magazine event/podcast guests
  • Work with freelance writers to coordinate contracts and billing information
  • Other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Education, Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, with journalism degree or focus a plus
  • 2-3 years professional experience in a related field, with website and social media experience a must.
  • Proficiency in working on Website CMS
  • Proficiency using and developing audience engagement on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Experience creating and editing video/reels for social media

  • Knowledge of Jewish landscape a plus
