Position Summary:

The Recruiter develops search strategies and independently facilitates the full cycle recruitment process to position Tides teams for success. The Recruiter is familiar with talent landscapes and delivers incredible customer service and a candidate experience. Additionally, the Recruiter will work closely with the Sr. Manager, Talent & Operations to build and enhance several areas of the recruitment process including sourcing, screening, selection, process enhancement, talent metrics and hiring manager training.

The Recruiter will be joining an expanding recruitment function at Tides and support hiring for key roles and the continuous improvement of the function. Leveraging best practices in talent acquisition and the close relationship with diversity, equity and inclusion principles will be a key function of this role. This role will also focus on the evaluation of tools and practices and institute training protocols for hiring managers. The Recruiter is an exempt position. Exempt employees are expected to work the appropriate and necessary hours in order to complete key assignments and related tasks on schedule. This role reports to the Sr. HR Manager, Talent & Operations

Essential Duties:

Recruitment 

•    With the Sr. Manager, Talent & Operations, assist with creating the foundation for recruiting including sourcing, screening, selection, process improvement, recruitment metrics and training for the function

•    Be a full cycle recruiter with ownership of each phase of the process including source, attract, engage, screen, interview, extend and close offers

•    Actively seek out and connect with candidates for current and future roles

•    Work with hiring managers across the organization to draft job descriptions, calibrate searches and hire talent

•    Strategize with hiring manager on the most effective interview process for each role

•    Guide candidates through every phase of the interview and hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience

•    Support the development of an internal talent recruiting program

•    Build a solid and diverse candidate pipeline to support equity and inclusion priorities

•    Cultivate a robust recruitment pipeline for each role and for future opportunities, with an emphasis on diverse representation following all applicable laws and EEO guidelines.

Recruitment Operations & Training

•    Support transition from hiring to onboarding with onboarding teams

•    Support the evaluation of recruiting channels to determine success of and areas of opportunity for sourcing and attracting talent

•    Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Talent & Operations to identify and utilize innovative high yield sourcing methods and tools and participate in continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and practices.

•    Continually education hiring managers on recruitment practices by creating and delivering regular training opportunities for Managers and Directors

Recruiting Metrics 

•    With the Sr. Manager, Talent & Operations, leverage data to define KPIs, success metrics and inform strategic decisions

•    Support the evaluation of recruiting channels to determine success of and areas of opportunity for sourcing and attracting talent

•    Identify and track success metrics and key performance indicators

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Ability to independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle including outreach to closing stages for a wide range of roles across several business functions and organization levels including Client Services, Finance, Marketing, Grants, Human Resources and others

•    Ability to identify and attract best-in-class talent to Tides

•    Accustomed to managing several recruitments independently including candidate scheduling

•    Ability to instantly establish rapport and to build and maintain long-standing, meaningful relationships with both candidates and hiring managers

•    Serve as a partner to hiring teams by driving changes to the hiring/interview process, prioritizing across the organization and providing a unique perspective on market trends and industry best practices

•    Strong familiarity with the current hiring market trends, including current and evolving sourcing, screening and selection techniques

•    Ability to manage external recruitment agencies including negotiating placement rates for direct hire and temporary positions

•    Demonstrated experience with auditing and evolving recruitment operations to increase efficiency and quality of recruitment processes

•    Demonstrated experience using data and insights to monitor the performance of recruitment programs to determine efficacy and make recommendations for improvements

•    Ability to implement or support recruitment process improvements on a regular basis

•    Experience developing and implementing training for hiring managers on process, trends and best practices.

•    Comfortable educating, presenting and engaging in front of an audience

Education & Experience: 

•    5+ years of experience with full cycle recruiting and or talent management

•    Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent work experience

•    Certified as a LinkedIn Recruiter or 2+ year experience using the LinkedIn Recruiter tool to source passive candidates preferred

•    Experience using applicant tracking systems to monitor recruitment metrics, and report on trends preferred
