Program Director

The Program Director (a full-time, exempt position) oversees operations for all Karis programs that serve homeless teens, youths, and adults. The programs currently include The House (teen shelter), Zoe House (a transitional housing program for victims and survivors or domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and/or stalking), Street Outreach Program (SOP), the Host Home Program (a transitional housing program that matches youth with healthy community families), Asset House (a transitional housing program for adults), Bonnie’s House (a project-based voucher program for youths between 18 and 24), and the Transitional Living Program (a transitional housing program for youths between 16 and 22). Each of these programs works to transition young adults to future of hope and stability by working with staff, interns and volunteers. The Director also works with Karis’ Executive Director (ED) to develop these programs, and to envision and develop new program opportunities. The Director also serves as the Karis representative at various community meetings and forums and reports directly to Karis’ ED.
