Description
The Program Coordinator based in Miami Florida office will be working directly under CoManaging Director, Outreach and Engagement; other staff in Hadassah Florida offices; and volunteers to help enhance programming and fundraising opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement effective communications related to assigned projects, including drafting and preparing correspondence by letters and/or emails, maintaining contact lists, and creating mailing labels utilizing mail merge when necessary
- Assist in implementation of engaging, educational, relevant and innovative events, activities and programs for Hadassah Florida Regions and chapters, and the surrounding community
- Serve as the point person, collaborating with the Managing Director, volunteers and vendors as needed for assigned projects
- Attend committee meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items
- Maintain and coordinate internal and external calendars of events, meetings, and important dates
- Coordinate communications to promote programming, including but not limited to: community calendar, press releases, and social media
- Assist the Marketing/PR Associate in relevant administrative work as needed
- Work with other organizations
- Perform other tasks as required
Requirements
Education and Experience
- BA or 3 years relevant work experience
