LGBTQ Senior Housing, Inc. seeks a highly organized, proactive individual, passionate about LGBTQ issues, to support ongoing fundraising activities and The Pryde fundraising campaign.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the President and the Board of Directors, the Development Associate is responsible for all administrative aspects of LGBTQ Senior Housing's fundraising activities, including:

Providing high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, President, and Board (e.g., manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare related materials, process expense reports and invoices).
Drafting donor communications (e.g., mailings, personalized outreach, contact reports, proposals).
Tracking donor and prospect activity.
Coordinating logistics and assisting in execution of and follow up for events in the Boston area and beyond.
Processing gifts, administering the gift acknowledgement process, and managing the donor database.
Conducting research on new and existing prospects utilizing online tools and creating briefings for use in fundraising.
Maintaining an active prospect list.
Attending meetings as appropriate.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for LGBTQ Senior Housing Inc.'s mission to facilitate access to welcoming, safe and affordable housing for low-income LGBTQ seniors.
Prior nonprofit experience, preferably in a development setting.
Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously with great attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal and social media communication skills and ability to work with a variety of constituents.
Flexibility and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Diplomacy, discretion, sensitivity, and tact.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Familiarity with donor databases.
