The Opportunity
The Managing Partner, Equity & Proximity is an important new addition to the New Profit team. Reporting to Tulaine Montgomery, Co-CEO, the ideal Managing Partner, Equity & Proximity will play a leadership role in championing New Profit’s ongoing commitment to developing a strong culture of equity, diversity and inclusion. In this role, their primary responsibility will be to lead through influence and advance New Profit’s internal evolution to a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
Specifically, this individual will collaborate closely with senior leaders to assess the current needs of the firm and will build and implement an integrated equity, diversity, and inclusion strategy. On an ongoing basis the Managing Partner, Equity & Proximity will recommend, develop, implement, manage, and measure internal EDIP (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Proximity) related strategies. In addition, the Managing Partner, Equity & Proximity will act as a thought partner to senior leadership, advising on best practices that align with the firm’s overall EDIP vision. Given its importance to New Profit’s success, this position requires an inspiring, collaborative, courageous, innovative, and visionary leader with outstanding people and management skills.
