The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, team- and detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working on multiple tasks oriented environment.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Oversee and management of all aspects of service delivery at New Reach shelters, including contractual obligations and budget maintenance
  • Advocate to CPO/QA any programmatic and staffing needs
  • Responsible for handling all client grievances.
  • Track shelter census and turn over to ensure each shelter is operating at capacity in coordination with Shelter Support Assistant on room availability.
  • Facilitate agency meetings that include and are not limited to case conferencing RA & Shelter team meetings
  • Supervise, orient and train shelter staff to ensure that job responsibilities are being performed in a quality manner, consistent with policy and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Responsible for the hiring, verification of time worked, monitoring and approval of PTO time, and annual performance evaluations of direct supervisees.
  • Provide regular structured supervision and training to all shelter staff
  • Monitor caseloads and capacity of each Case Worker.
  • Oversee data entry in Electronic Client Record and HMIS to ensure integrity of data.
  • Monitor reports and data to inform service delivery to ensure best possible outcomes for residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and five years of supervisory experience. Master’s preferred.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural preferred; highly motivated, creative with excellent interpersonal skills; strong advocacy skills.
  • Strong ability to lead; previous experience in managing supportive housing, home visiting or shelter/residential programs preferred.
  • Education or experience working with clients with substance abuse issues, mental health, HIV/AIDS required.
