Major Gift Officer
Houston, TX
We are excited to announce the search for the next Major Gift Officer at the KSBJ Education Foundation. Over the last decade, the network of KSBJ and NGEN stations have grown to have the largest listening audience and reach in the Christian broadcasting market. This means individuals living in communities across the greater Houston area who tune into KSBJ or NGEN stations and others who access web-based programming across the country have repeated opportunities to be changed by the life-saving power of the gospel through the ministry of Christian radio and dynamic community outreach initiatives and events.
Because of the large and engaged listening audience, thousands of faithful monthly donors are prime for cultivation and deepening engagement with KSBJ. The KSBJ Education Foundation is on the verge of launching a $30+ million capital campaign aimed at increasing impact by expanding the corporate campus, updating technology, and building capacity. The Major Gift Officer cannot join the donor engagement team at a more exciting time and will be critical to the success of the campaign. The Major Gift Officer will start out with a qualified portfolio of 100 – 120 donors who give of their time, talents, and treasures at various levels. If you have personally been impacted by Christian radio, have 7+ years of experience cultivating major gifts and/or face to face donor engagement, and desire to work in a collaborative family environment this may be the perfect opportunity!
This position is based out of KSBJ’s campus in Humble, TX, a thriving suburb of Houston, TX.
