Description
Neighbours, Inc., is an innovative non-profit organization created specifically to support people with disabilities and their families in choosing and designing a life for themselves. We are expanding our team of creative, team oriented people to facilitate person-centered planning and support Self-direction with individuals and families in framework of the Division of Developmental Disabilities Systems Change.
Directly meeting with people
Complete Quarterly & Monthly Monitoring Tools
Assist individuals and their families in identifying support needs, current available resources and their vision for the future.
Maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date contact notes, data and other required records and complete and submit required reports by established deadlines.
Flexible working hours
Must have strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Valid Driver’s license and the ability to travel the State of New Jersey
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors’ degree and 1 year full time equivalent experience working in any capacity with adults (age 21 or older) with developmental disabilities required.
LIFE EXPERIENCE AND VOLUNTEER WORK COUNT for the experience portion of the credentials.
Sign language OR Spanish speaking a HUGE plus!
